    Yoga Prayogam 2 is a highly specialized and unique course for yoga teachers designed to develop a deeper understanding of the process of customising yoga practice to suit specific needs of individuals and groups.

    Viniyoga, the very unique method of applying yoga practice in a step by step manner according to various factors such as age, time, activity, abilities, stages of life, roles we play etc., is based on the teachings of Sri T Krishnamacharya & Sri TKV Desikachar.

    A practitioner can take to yoga any stage in life, whatever be their needs and challenges and not only benefit but also progress in their chosen path of excellence through appropriate application of the tools of yoga.

    This is a stand-alone course offered as Continuous Education Units (CEU) for Yoga teachers, and a part of our 500 hour Yoga Acharya Program.

    Unique Features
    of the Program
      Building upon the foundations of Viniyoga, the course offers practical hands-on training in observation, assessment, adapting and applying yoga practices in specialized settings to meet the diverse and specific needs of individuals and groups.

      Specialized workshops, and practicum through demo, role-plays and case study presentations will train the participants to learn to apply yoga in a variety of settings. Participants will also learn to design & teach group practices with specific focus.

      Learning to adapt Yoga to teach children, women (healthy conception & pregnancy), senior citizens, for excellence in sports and performing arts.

    Who can do
    this course?
    You are a yoga teacher in the tradition of Sri T Krishnamacharya
    Admission
    requirements
    Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

    Any student who has previously completed teacher training in the tradition of Sri T Krishnamacharya and is actively teaching yoga, seeking to deepen understanding of personalised application of yoga can apply.

    The applicant must also have a sincere desire to help oneself and others through Yoga.

    The applicant must be willing to commit to a personal yoga practice everyday.

    Mental and emotional stability, and reasonably good communication skills (in English).

    Group Size
     
    It is proposed that a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 25 participants will be accepted in this program. We would like to proceed with a committed group of students where each student is guaranteed to receive sufficient personal attention and support.
